With all these latest ways of transferring files over the network, there's always the traditional methods involving a physical cable hooking up your source and destination device. One example is FastLynx. It involves a USB cable and a piece of software that let's you transfer stuff back and forth. Personally, I prefer using the Internet or my LAN over this primitive method...
